The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the area of Church and Academy streets.
A 29-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to live, Clark said.
The victim was not able to speak with detectives about what happened due to his injury.
A short time later a second victim, a 24-year-old City resident, arrived at a local hospital with a through and through gunshot wound to his arm and graze to his side. He too is expected to live, Clark said.
This victim stated he was watching a fight when he was struck and did not know who shot him.
There were many people in the area when the shootings occurred. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 845- 451-7577.
Numerous outside agencies were needed to assist with fights and large unruly crowds in that area.
